WARDOGS Vehicle Tier List

Vehicle Tier List by Value

A vehicle in WARDOGS is a loadout with a fuel gauge. This ranking asks two questions: does it put living teammates into the Control Zone for the next tick, and can you buy another one after the first one burns? Field behaviour sits on the vehicles guide. Prices are playtest-recorded.

Jets stay off the list. They are an Early Access plan, not a launch hangar.

S-tier

Bobcat (~$500). The correct answer for broke squads. Two seats, no dignity, infinite respawn as a concept. If your faction is walking, buy these until someone else opens a helicopter pad.

Transport helicopters (MH-6 / UH-1Y class, ~$6,250–$8,000). Highest skill, highest honest money. A living taxi with a full bench can out-earn a fragger and win ticks by arriving on time. Parachutes for passengers. If you cannot fly, this drops to D-tier in your personal list.

A-tier

Humvee gun trucks ($3,000–$4,500). Armour plus an M249 or minigun. The first vehicle that can fight on the approach without pretending to be an MBT. Still dies to coordinated launchers.

Kodiak family ($2,500–$3,750). Squad cars. Less fight, more seats. A-tier when the zone is a road problem.

Ural logistics ($5,000–$6,750). Ammo and FOB blood. A-tier in organised groups, B-tier in a pub that will steal the truck and park it in a ditch.

Gepard (~$8,000–$10,000). Situational S against air, A overall because of the price and the “please IED me” silhouette. If Havocs are free, someone on your colour must buy this or a launcher stack.

B-tier

Dune Buggy (~$1,500). Fast and mortal. Fun. Often a Bobcat with extra steps.

M113 APCs. Good buses. Win when crewed, lose when treated like light tanks.

AH-6 Little Birds ($7,000–$12,500). Gunship lite. B-tier in skilled hands, fireworks in unskilled ones. Gepard exists specifically to humble you.

SPH-2 artillery (~$8,000–$10,000). B-tier because it needs information. With a spotter on the Hot Zone it deletes FOBs and clustered towers. Without one it is a very expensive noise complaint.

C-tier

L2A6 (~$14,000). A-tier when a three-person crew plays the how to win objective. C-tier as a solo ego buy that exceeds the starting wallet. You will see streamers in these. You will also see their wrecks funding other people’s money page.

Havoc (~$18,000). Same story, louder, more Gepard bait. C-tier default, S-tier highlight, D-tier for anyone still unlocking Humvees.

D-tier

Any air or armour purchase that is your last dollar with no infantry fallback. The model name is irrelevant. Also: any vehicle you spawn to farm kills outside the zone while your faction is losing ticks. That is not a tier. That is a throw.

Crew beats catalogue

A Bobcat with three people who understand occupancy will beat an L2A6 with one person who wanted a montage. If your faction chat cannot fill seats, stay on wheels from S and A. If your faction chat can fill seats, the C-tier monsters become A.

Unlock gates (Driver levels, Wardog 35 for the L2A6 in catalogues, cash unlocks on some Urals) mean your personal list changes over the account. Do not read a level-55 artillery pick as a day-one recommendation.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common WARDOGS questions.

What is the best WARDOGS vehicle for new players?

The Bobcat, or a seat in someone else's helicopter. Do not start with the L2A6. Read vehicles and getting started.

Why are tanks not S-tier?

They cost more than the $10,000 starting wallet and die to coordinated infantry. They are strong with a crew and a plan, not as a default spawn.

Are helicopters worth the price?

Transport helicopters are S-tier if you can fly and your passengers packed parachutes. Gunships are optional. Crashes are not refunded.

Will this list include jets later?

When jets actually ship in Early Access. Until then they are a roadmap item on updates.
